What
to Do – Impossible Surf at the Bukit
What
to Do – Dream Beaches If you don't dare to surf, beaches around
the Bukit are perfect for a lazy afternoon. They are ste against
beautiful landscapes and offer a bit of white sand, a rarity in
Bali . Don't expect peaceful swimming among waves and coral breaks.
Enjoy the sight of surfers, both in and out of the water. Bringing
booties may protect your feet, but avoid stepping on coral. For
peaceful swimming, head for the lagoon – like waters of Geger
Beach , just south of Nusa Dua. It also has a good surf wave,
but it breaks far away from the coast. This long stretch of white
sand extend between two temples and is considered sacred
by the Bali nese, who conduct ceremonies there. The rest
of the time, it is worshipped by local expatriates, who come here
with their families to enjoy the quiet turquoise water and the
great simple food served on the relaxed terrace of the restaurant
above the sand.

Balinese
also love to come here to fish. Here and there, you may notice
